Rebar Buying Guide
Order rebar from the project bar list or drawings: bar size, grade, length/bend shape, quantity, coating and required accessories.
What to consider
- Use structural drawings or the bar schedule as the source of truth.
- Separate straight bar from fabricated/bent bar requirements.
- Specify coating when epoxy-coated, galvanized or other corrosion-resistant reinforcement is required.
- Include tie wire, chairs, supports, welded wire reinforcement and concrete accessories when relevant.
- Avoid estimating structural reinforcement requirements from generic online rules when an engineered design applies.
How to request material
For the fastest quote, send the exact material description, dimensions, grade/specification if known, quantity, required processing, delivery or pickup requirements, and the date the material is needed. Drawings, cut lists and project specifications reduce ambiguity.
